Angry ward residents protested against water supply department due to sewerage jam

Radaur, January 15 : In Ward No. 7 local people erupted on Saturday over the problem of sewerage which was blocked for months. Angry people raised slogans against the water supply department. The local people demanded the administration to fix the clogged sewerage at the earliest. If the demand is not met, the local people have threatened to hold an indefinite dharna against the department. Ward residents Jaipal Saini, Priya Devi, Mangatram, Maya Devi, Bholaram, Ashu, Rama Devi, Shyama Devi, Pravesh, Aryan etc. told that they live in the colony behind Balaji temple in Chimbi Mohalla of Ward No. 7 of the city. He said that the sewerage block in the colony has been lying for several months. Whose dirty water keeps coming out of the main hall all the time. The dirty water from the main hall is collecting in the street. Due to which the environment is getting polluted and breathing has become difficult. Mosquitoes and flies are causing the problem of dirty water. The complaint was also made on his behalf to the officers and employees of the department. But there was no solution to the problem. They demand that the officials of the water supply department should work to open the blocked sewerage at the earliest. In this regard, SDO, Water Supply Department, Ravi Nayak said that the closed sewerage will be opened soon. After which the local people will not face any problem.
